The North Tonawanda Garden Walk is open to anyone wishing to share their garden with visitors for the WEEKEND with a focus on the downtown and sweeney estate districts.

AFTER SURVEYING ATTENDEES AND PARTICIPANTS A DECISION HAS BEEN MADE TO LIMIT GARDENS TO THE CITY BORDER OF NORTH TONAWANDA. THIS AREA IS ROUGHLY BOUNDED BY SWEENEY/NIAGARA FALLS BLVD/RUIE RD AREA/RIVER ROAD. (SEE IMAGE) FOR THOSE WITH NT ADDRESSES IN WHEATFIELD PLEASE CONSIDER PARTICIPATING IN THE OPEN GARDENS PROGRAM INSTEAD. NTGW WILL REASSESS THIS DECISION IF THERE IS AMPLE INTEREST IN OUTLYING AREAS. Garden walks are a way of promoting neighborhoods, sustainability, gardening techniques, creativity, wellness, and communities. North Tonawanda Garden Walk is SCHEDULED FOR A THIRD YEAR in 2022 to encourage growth in all of these areas.

GARDENS BUFFALO NIAGARA IS A 5013C ORGANIZATION THAT AIMS TO CREATE MORE VIBRANT AND BEAUTIFUL COMMUNITIES BY SHARING GARDENS. Garden Walk Buffalo WAS STARTED BY THE NORWOOD BLOCK CLUB AND HAS SINCE GROWN INTO A REGIONAL COLLABORATION BETWEEN GARDENERS AND PASSIONATE RESIDENTS. THIS GROUP has been active for 25 years bringing an estimated $4.5 million economic impact to the region. North Tonawanda Garden Walk operates independently but is affiliated with GWB.
